This year we will study together the writings of Shoghi Effendi. Many participants already have experience with study circles conducted by the training institute. Inspired by that model, participants engage in asking and answering questions, first at the basic level to understand the material being studied, and then for implications and applications of the concepts learned. Rather than relying on the knowledge of a teacher, everyone is encouraged to explore the meaning of what is being studied. An experienced facilitator will help the group in their explorations. This pedagogy avoids the passivity commonly engendered in lectures.
